Our reason why

A few words from us…

One in two people from African and Caribbean backgrounds living in the UK are in poverty. Research further shows that black students are under-represented in top universities, and within industry, only 3 out of 650 senior investment bankers at London’s top 11 investment banks, are black.

We want to build a space where young Black women feel valued and there are clear pathways of opportunity for them to succeed.

Working together is an opportunity to create lasting change. It’s a chance to work hand in hand with committed partners to develop the foundations that will see a future with increased opportunities and improved levels of social mobility.

At programme level, we work to find practical ways for young Black women to access higher tariff universities and achieve improved career prospects.

At community level, we work together with industry partners, schools, universities, individuals and alongside young Black women to counter inequalities and improve diversity in higher education and industry.

Join us in creating lasting change.
