How you can help?

We work together with industry partners, schools, universities and individuals to improve diversity in higher education and beyond. So here’s how you can get involved:

Mentor

Are you a seasoned professional who wishes to share your industry experience to inspire the next generation of young women?

Are you able to commit to four or five, one-to-one, face-to-face mentoring sessions with your mentee, per year? Then our Mentoring Programme is for you!

Your role will be to inspire, challenge and encourage your mentee, introduce them to your industry and share your experience with them.

How we work

We match mentees with mentors who are best suited to them in terms of their personality, professional experience and ability to inspire.

We provide training to help set the right expectations for both parties and address any concerns on either side.

Timings

The KINShiP Bursary Mentoring Programme runs for 4 months of every year. Applications for the 2023/24 open in September 2023 and mentor training takes place in the autumn where you will have the opportunity to meet your mentee.
